Clanfield Womens' Institute

Clanfield Women's Institute was formed in 1918 at a time when there were fewer than 200 institutes in the whole of the United Kingdom (today there are 6,500), so even then this village was leading the way. 

Women of Clanfield have the opportunity to join and become a member of an organisation that is over 100 years old. The WI provides women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and outings, and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.  It is a chance to meet your neighbours and have fun!
